Role Overview
As an Insurance & Claims Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end claims process related to deliveries, moving services, damages, incidents, and coverage disputes. You will work closely with customers, drivers, insurance partners, and internal teams to ensure claims are handled efficiently, fairly, and in alignment with Muvr’s policies.
This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, empathetic, and experienced in claims management within service-driven or operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process insurance and service-related claims from initial report through resolution
- Investigate claims involving item damage, loss, accidents, or service incidents
- Coordinate with insurance providers, adjusters, customers, and drivers to gather documentation
- Ensure claims are handled fairly, consistently, and in compliance with internal policies
- Track claim timelines, outcomes, and key performance metrics
- Partner with Trust & Safety, Operations, and Legal teams on escalations and complex cases
- Identify trends in claims to inform operational improvements and risk reduction
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation for audit readiness
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in insurance claims, risk operations, customer resolution, or related roles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive cases professionally
- Excellent communication and customer empathy skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced operational environments
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple cases simultaneously
Preferred
- Experience in logistics, moving services, mobility, or marketplace platforms
- Familiarity with liability frameworks, coverage policies, and claims escalation processes
- Experience working with third-party insurers or claims management systems
- Passion for building trusted customer experiences through strong operational execution
